This package contains the files needed for installing the Tablet driver. ![]() I'm not sure whether or not the older driver is really necessary, but I'm not willing to test that now.Īlso, make sure you reboot both after uninstalling and after reinstalling, and keep that tablet unplugged until you're all done.- Added support for new Bamboo Pad tablets This, in combination with an older driver ( ), finally got my tablet working. ![]() If this is your problem then you've already been in there before, and thus should at least be able to Google how to do it. So the solution was to go regedit-ing and changing the install location back to default (that is, 'C:\Program Files' and 'C:\Program Files (x86)'). However, it seems their shitty installer doesn't account for non-default install locations, so the service will still be looking for the drivers in C:\Program Files (is my calculated guess, at least). And because of this Wacom was (with their automatic installer) installing there, instead of in C:\Program Files. First the one in the OP, then the infamous "TABLET DRIVER NOT FOUND" after installing an older driver.īasically, my issue was that I had changed the default install location in Windows. I went through both common errors before finally getting it working correctly. I'm a little late to this thread, but it was high up on the search rankings when I tried to fix it, so I'm posting in the hopes that it'll help someone nonetheless. I really don't know what to do now, any suggestions? Now, when I'm trying to start the Preference utility, I get an error that says it couldn't find libxml2.dll, which is pretty weird since it's in system32. Now I actually can start the properties, but of course the pressure is not working again. So I uninstalled it, downloaded the missing DLLS and the 2nd installation was 100% succesfull, without any errors. Prop., the driver was always not responding. However, everytime I tried to start Wacom Tab. Sometimes, when I try to start Wacom Tablet Properties, it actually shows up, but the pressure isn't working (I tried every software I could, SAI, Photoshop, FireAlpaca, MediBang pro, but nothing works) While the first installation, I had like three DLLs missing, and a 0x00007b error, but the instalation was succesfull. I have a Wacom Intuos Draw S, which worked perfectly before, but yesterday, I had to re-install my whole OS because of some HDD errors, and now it doesn't work. I already contacted the wacom support, but I know it will take ages for them to respond, so I'm asking over here. Of course restarting didn't help, so I tried to google the solution, but I found absolutely NOTHING related to this message, it's just ''TABLET DRIVER WAS NOT FOUND'' all over again, which is not my problem. Hi there, So I got this weird error that says ''Tablet driver is not responding, restart your computer, if it doesn't help, contact wacom support'' or similar. ![]()
